On Remembrance Sunday, the country remembered those who lost their lives in the first and second world wars.

We were privileged to be part of a number of memorial services throughout the borough: at Heald Green, Cheadle Hulme, Bramhall, Stockport Town Hall and Wilmslow.

We must never forget the sacrifice made by so many, and we must ensure the world never sees the rise of such hatred once again.

It is worth noting the sacrifice of the Muslim soldiers who gave their lives during these wars in the name of duty.  Please see a link below to an interesting articles that details this sacrifice.
