Archery – Bows and Arrows!
Why take up archery?
We lead in general very sedentary lifestyles; with little physical activity and often a poor diet. A lifestyle were we often are sat in the office at a computer or at a desk, even when we are away from work our activities involve little physical activity : watching television, playing video games, or sat as a family at home – often around food!
Archery offers an alternative healthier lifestyle for any age, disability or gender.
“If archery learnt properly you can achieve good body core strength and is great for toning.”
Archery helps you to build confidence, improving your hand to eye coordination, focus, patience and analytical skills. The feeling of shooting a bow and hitting a bull’s eye or executing a great shot – helps you build self-esteem and enjoy a sense of accomplishment and relieves stress. So why not try archery at Cheadle Masjid. On top of this it is also reviving a Sunnah – perhaps the greatest benefit of all.
The Cheadle Masjid Archery Club offers taster sessions and beginner’s courses designed by qualified coaches that take you through everything you need to know to become a safe and competent archer.
