Nikah ceremonies at Cheadle Mosque
Allah (Ta’ala) says in Surah Ar-Rum:
“And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquillity in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.” (Quran 30:21)
Cheadle Mosque has been conducting nikah ceremonies since its inception in 2003. We at the Mosque see it as an honour to facilitate this blessed of union of two souls. Nikah ceremonies can be conducted on site at the mosque or our Imam can conduct the nikah at a venue of your choice.
In order to book a nikah with the mosque you are required to complete a pre-nikah information form. This information is required for the nikah certificate which will be issued to both parties on the nikah day.
Once the completed form is received you will be sent the terms of agreement and nikah charges with instructions of how to make payment. You will also be contacted by the admin team to confirm your booking and answer any questions you may have.

We have also introduced a pre-marriage counselling session with the Imam in which you and your future spouse can discuss any questions/concerns you may have prior to the marriage. There are a set of 20 questions which you are required to complete prior to the session, these questions have been designed to allow spouses to explore different aspects of marriage and to understand what each party is looking to get out of marriage.
