Providing Relief to Yemen

Cheadle Masjid and Islamic Relief have long worked together – we have that real trust in Islamic Relief and the implementation of their projects. This Ramadhan – we are working with Islamic Relief to provide relief to the people of Yemen.

Yemen has been destroyed by conflict since 2015 – now more than 80% of the population need humanitarian assistance – there is a lack of food and the healthcare system is crippled

A Child dies every 10 minutes in Yemen.

We need your Zakat please.

Yemen is probably one the biggest current humanitarian crisis of this year and that’s saying a lot during this dark period of COVID.

With the ongoing conflict in Yemen – already one of the poorest countries in the region – tens of thousands of lives have been lost and over 20 million people don’t know where their next meal will come from.

A country crippled by conflict is sadly now on the brink of famine.

  • 19.7 million people need basic healthcare
  • Almost 18 million people are in need of water and sanitation facilities
  • Over 4 million people have been uprooted from their homes
  • One child dies every 10 minutes in Yemen – that says it all.

Imagine as a helpless parent being able to save your child through lack of access to food, clean water, medicine – items we take for granted.

So please donate some of your Zakat to Yemen -your Zakat, your Sadaqah can transform someone’s life – can help a mother hold her child once again…

Just £26 will provide support to malnourished children and pregnant woman.

A food pack can costing just £80 can provide enough food for a family for a month.

These donations whatever you can afford are so important – please donate whatever you can insha’Allah.
